About Us - In 1975

We acquired our first two mares in 1975 after determining that we needed to develop an interest which could and would include all of the family members - parents and two pre-teenage daughters.  After some research on many different possibilities we settled on the miniature horse.  Since that time we, as a family, have been heavily involved in the Miniature Horse Industry.

Our original idea was to teach them to drive as a draft team.  Very likely that was the result of Ray growing up on a farm where his father and grandfather used teams and even though he was still very young he enjoyed them greatly.  That original pair of horses is shown on the cover of the February/March 1985 issue of the Miniature Horse World.  They are the lead team.
