About Us - In 2001, 2002 and 2003

In 2001, 2002 and 2003, she and two daughters, two granddaughters and one great granddaughter (six in hand) were AMHA's National Champion Multiple Hitch in Draft Harness.  She was twenty-nine at the time of her most recent national victory.  She is the lead mare on the left side of the team.  She had one other daughter and one other granddaughter that were part of the AMHA's 1994 National Champion Multiple Hitch in Draft Harness.  She even has two great grandsons that have been AMHR national champions.  One, Philia Blaze's Jubilee, was the Reserve Grand Champion Junior Stallion, and the other, Philia Blaze's Zanzabar,  was the national champion Pleasure Driving Stallion.  In addition he was two time AMHA Honor Roll winner as a Pleasure Driving Stallion, and National show top ten winner.  Not bad for a seven hundred dollar investment!

If one checks the AMHA and AMHR studbooks it would be discovered that the blood of Ohio's Salt and Pepper  and Flying W Farms Little Blue Boy  flows heavily through our herd.  Although we have never owned Flying W Farms Little Blue Boy, we did acquire one of his grandsons, Flying W Blue Boy's Blaze  (pictured in OUR STALLIONS) who is our premier stallion.  Some of his more famous get include: Philia Blaze's Joe Dandy, the 1999 and 2000 AMHA National reserve Grand Champion Senior Stallion; Philia Blaze's Jubilee, the 2001 AMHR National Reserve Grand Champion Junior Stallion; Philia Blaze's Avenger, the 2000 AMHR National Reserve Grand Champion Pleasure Driving Stallion; Philia Blaze's Zanzabar, the 2000 AMHR National Champion Pleasure Driving Stallion; and Philia Blaze's Chantilly Lace  and Philia Blaze's Tabitha  who have won many AMHA National Show titles in draft and fine harness in 2001, 2002 and 2003.  The latest addition to the list of his get to attain national status is Little King Farm Ablaze , who was the 2003 AMHA National Show Champion 28"-30" Senior Stallion.

In 1994 we decided it was time to introduce a new bloodline into our breeding program.  After some research we became part of the BTU SYNDICATE.  Breeding to the 1995 AMHA Grand Champion Senior Stallion IMA BOONE'S LITTLE BUCKEROO TOO  has produced some wonderful horses.  One of his get, Philia BTU's Bay Lady, has been an exceptional show mare who has won many local show titles.
